Free Intro Options

Despite our most valiant efforts, words could never fully explain what it is that we do.  The best way to understand CrossFit Austin is to come experience it.  That’s why we offer you a number of free options to check it out and get started.  Read more about us below, or contact us to get started:

  • Free 1-on-1 intro – (Contact us to setup today)
    We’ll set a time around your schedule to meet one-on-one with one of our trainers.  In the session, we’ll learn more about your background and fitness goals, take you through some movements, and a custom workout crafted to your current fitness level.  We’ll then use what we’ve learned to recommend the best route to proceed.
  • Free group classes – (View upcoming schedule)
    We try to set up a free group class at least once a month for prospective members to come try out what we do in a group setting.  This is a great chance for you to experience the teamwork and camaraderie associated with the group classes.
  • Free class drop-in(Contact us to schedule)
    If you’ve been doing CrossFit for a while, and are comfortable with the movements and proper mechanics, we welcome you to come try out one of our normal group classes for free.  .

We realize that many of the workouts and exercises posted on our website look difficult and a bit intimidating.   We don’t expect you to walk through the doors and complete the workout of the day (WOD) as prescribed.  We scale all workouts to everyone’s fitness and experience level.

Level-I (Beginner) Small Group Classes

The Level-I classes are the latest evolution of our OnRamp program.  This program is the perfect way to experience all that CrossFit has to offer and gain a solid foundation in proper movement and nutrition.  The Level-I classes have an ongoing schedule and allow members to get started as soon as possible, and have a number of class-time options.  Once you feel comfortable advancing to the next level, and our coaches give you the okay, you’ll be cleared to attend Level-II classes.

The goal of these classes is to give every attendee a solid foundation in overall health and fitness, and teach the proper learning and conditioning for continued physical success in and out of the gym.

Elements Personal Training

Elements personal training is an intro program designed for people who cannot attend our On Ramp Group Classes or prefer the privacy and personal attention of one-on-one training.  Training protocols of the Elements Personal Training are identical to the On Ramp Group Class, but can normally be reduced to three sessions instead of six.  Once you have completed all sessions, you will be eligible for our group classes.  You may also remain in private training if you would prefer.

Personal Training

CrossFit Austin also offers personal training* for clients of all types with goals of all kinds.  If you have very specific goals, are significantly overweight and out-of-shape, or prefer the privacy and personal attention of one-on-one training.  Then personal training may be your best choice.

*You can also create your own small group of friends and family for a reduced price per client

Free Group Intro Session

The focus of these sessions will be fundamental CrossFit movements, mobility, and an introductory workout for those interested in trying CrossFit. They are open to current, and prospective members. For current members they will not count against your monthly allotment of class sessions, and for prospective members they are 100% free.

Level-2 (Intermediate to Advanced) Small Group Classes

The Level-2 class makes up the bulk of our group class schedule, this group CrossFit Class is designed for intermediate to advanced trainees.  Level- 2 is designed to take a foundation of strength, aerobic capacity, and skill to the next level.  The Level-2 classes have a broad array of class-time options, and  allow members to set their own individual  flexible schedules.  For prospective member we require at-least 2 months of consistent CrossFit or skilled athletic training to forgo Level – 1 and jump right into Level – 2 classes. We also expect a good grasp of the Olympic movements (snatch, clean, and jerk),  strength movements (press, deadlift, squat),  as well as intermediate gymnastics skills (kipping pull-ups, ring skills, handstands).

The goal of these classes is to drive athlete’s  fitness to a new level, and continue  to build on a well rounded foundation of strength, conditioning, and athleticism.
