The best way to understand Crossfit is to come experience it. We realize that many of the workouts and exercises posted on our website look difficult and a bit intimidating.   We don’t expect you to walk through the doors and complete the workout of the day (WOD) as prescribed.  We scale all workouts to everyone’s fitness and experience level.

Intro Session

Your first day at CrossFit Austin is a FREE introductory session. Your initial visit will consist of a brief synopsis of CrossFit methods and philosophy, an evaluation of your fitness, a thorough warm-up, and a modified Crossfit Workout.

On Ramp Program (Starting September ‘09)

The next step after the your intro session is The CrossFit Austin On Ramp Program.  The program is designed to teach you the fundamental movements of the CrossFit program and prepare you for the rigors of our group classes.  The On Ramp Program consists of six classes over a two week period.  We also offer one on one training as a substitute for the On ramp class. Once you have completed our On Ramp program either as a class or through one on one sessions, you will be eligible to participate in our group classes and open gym sessions.

On Ramp Personal Training

On Ramp personal training is designed for people who can not attend our On Ramp Group Classes or prefer the privacy and personal attention of one-on-one training.  Training protocols of the On Ramp Personal Training are identical to the On Ramp Group Class and consist of six training sessions.  Once you have completed all six session, you will be eligibile for our group classes and open gym sessions.  You may also remain in private training if you would prefer.

Personal Training

CrossFit Austin also offers personal training for clients of all types with goals of all kinds.  If you have very specific goals, are significantly overweight and de-conditioned, or prefer the privacy and personal attention of one-on-one training.  Then personal training may be your best choice.

*You can also create your own small group of friends and family for a reduced price per client

Crossfit is designed to meet the experience, fitness level and needs of every human being and our On Ramp class allows us to do exactly this. Elite athletes and people in old age homes are doing Crossfit, if your fitness level falls somewhere in between, CrossFit is perfect for you.
