
CFA is Austin’s first and original CrossFit Football affiliate.
We are dedicated to the principals of CrossFit and sports specialized training to develop powerful athletes. CrossFit Football was designed by 12 year NFL veteran John Welbourn, in consortium with the world class coaches in the fields of strength and conditioning and CrossFit.

The program is designed to:
- Maximize both physical and mental work capacity for practice and games
- Develop strength and speed
- Increase mobility, flexibility, and posture for top end performance and injury prevention
- Teach techniques for NFL and High school combine tests (40, Pro Agility, L Drill, 225 lb rep max)
- Optimize performance nutrition
- Forge Powerful Athletes
We use organic functional movements performed at high intensity to simulate the demands placed on an athlete during a football game. Football is a game of seconds and inches. CrossFit Football knows the demands placed on players during the game and the distances they will have to travel. With this in mind, we can replicate the stresses and situations a player will face on the field.
