Folks, Walker put on a great gymnastics clinic last Saturday. She covered the basics and prgressions for a kip, rings, handstand push ups and muscle ups. It was good to spend some leisrely time learning these basics without the imperative of time in WODS. Walker did a fine job of putting safety first, demonstating the move, curing the movement and teaching participants how to spot. I hope she puts on more clinics, and more peoplecsign up. I know I will!

Hey thanks JJ! It was fun to take some time out to play with some new moves! Glad you had a good time, and I hope you aren’t too sore, ha. Looking forward to seeing you bust out a handstand on the next pub crawl!

I second JJ’s endorsement. Walker’s clinic was fun! The techniques she taught improved my performance in each exercise immediately, especially in pullups and handstands. Skinning the cat and muscling up are distant dreams but I learned the building blocks that will get me there eventually. I loved that Walker taught us how to be safe. Y’all know how much help I need there! :)
